INVITATION TO THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
“The Greener Agriculture for a Sustainable Sea” GRASS 2024
The Polish Ecological Club, Coalition Clean Baltic and Climate Coalition cordially invite you to the international conference ” The Greener Agriculture for a Sustainable Sea” GRASS 2024, which will be held on 26 and 28 November 2024 in a hybrid formula: the first day online, the second both online and on-site in Warsaw, at the headquarters of the National Association of Dairy Cooperatives (Krajowy Związek Spółdzielni Mleczarskich) at Hoża 66/68 Street, 00-682 Warsaw, Poland.
The two-day conference will focus on key challenges that agriculture in Poland and Europe is facing in the context of new EU regulations – the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Nature Restoration Law (NRL). The programme includes presentations, panels and debates, during which issues related to nature conservation, climate change and their impact on the agricultural economy and the state of the Baltic Sea waters will be presented.
The GRASS 2024 conference will bring together experts, representatives of scientific communities, environmental organizations, the agricultural sector and administration. It will address key issues for the future of agriculture, such as implementing the European Green Deal, fighting deforestation, implementing sustainable agricultural practices, animal welfare and protection of the aquatic environment. Special attention will be paid to the challenges facing Polish agriculture in the context of growing environmental challenges and climate change.
We cordially invite all interested parties – agricultural practitioners, representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientists, officials, as well as all those who care about supporting sustainable practices in agriculture that serve to protect natural resources, including the valuable ecosystem of the Baltic Sea.

Good day, I would love to participate, but since I am a student I struggle with the funds. Is there an entrance fee? Is it possible to gain some reimbursement for example for travelling onsite to Warsaw?
Thank you for your interest in our event. There is no entrance fee to attend the conference. Unfortunately, we do not offer reimbursements for participants. However, you can join the event online. You will be able to select your form of participation in the registration form.
